Estela Gómez and Angélica Díaz Aceves were recognized at SEMAR ceremony.
On the occasion of the International Day for Women in Maritime, the Manzanillo National Port System Administration (ASIPONA) recognized two of its female employees whose seniority makes them deans of the port administration's activities.
In this regard, separate recognitions were presented to Blanca Estela Gómez and Angélica María Díaz Aceves, who participated in the ceremony corresponding to the "International Day for Women in Maritime 2026" held by the Secretariat of the Navy.
The work of these women, who stand out for their presence, experience, and leadership, inspires the continued construction of a more inclusive, strong, and innovative maritime port sector.
At SEMAR and ASIPONA, the value, commitment, and talent of every woman who blazes a trail at sea are weighed, driving change, sustainability, and the future of our industry, as they constitute examples of opportunity, equality, and female leadership.
