Valenciaport Builds New 110 MW Substation to Double Energy Capacity of the Port of Valencia
The Port Authority of Valencia (APV) has initiated procedures to construct a new 110-megawatt electrical substation with a budget of USD 18.2 million, financed by the European Commission. The infrastructure, named ST Autoridad Portuaria de Valencia 2, will double the port's capacity to supply cargo terminals, logistics infrastructures, and shore power connection systems for vessels (OPS), ensuring maximum operational reliability and environmental sustainability.
