Peru and Dominican Republic to Promote Study for Free Trade Agreement
Peru and the Dominican Republic agreed to promote the creation of a Trade and Investment Committee to prepare the feasibility study for a potential trade agreement. In 2025, trade reached 184 million dollars, with Peruvian exports totaling 169 million (91.7% of the total). Peru has maintained a trade surplus with the Dominican Republic for over a decade, reaching 154 million dollars in 2025.
