The National Government Formalized a New Reduction in Export Duties for the Agricultural Sector
The National Government formalized a new reduction in export duties for grains and by-products through Decree N° 423/2026. Wheat and barley will see a 2 percentage point reduction starting in June 2026. For soybeans, corn, sunflower, and sorghum, a progressive reduction schedule is established between January 2027 and December 2028. Additionally, the biodiesel tax rate made from alternative oils is reduced to 0%.
