MSC announces new freight rates for South Asia-Europe trade through July 2026

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company announced new freight rates effective from 15 July 2026 until 31 July 2026 for trade routes from Colombo and Chattogram to Antwerp and Valencia. Rates from Colombo start at USD 2550 for 20-foot containers and USD 2850 for 40-foot containers, while Chattogram rates begin at USD 2550 and USD 3350 respectively. Additional charges include Bunker Recovery Charge (USD 304/TEU), Emissions Trading System (USD 74/TEU), and various terminal handling and security fees.
