Fred. Olsen becomes first cruise line to achieve Silver Carbon Literate status
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines earned Silver Carbon Literate Organization (CLO) status at The Carbon Literacy Project's seventh annual CLO Awards on June 3, becoming the first cruise line to achieve the recognition. The company delivered Carbon Literacy training to 88 employees across 17 departments since achieving Bronze accreditation in November 2025, reaching 40 percent of the workforce. Practical actions include digitalization of shipboard services and AI-powered food waste monitoring technology onboard the Bolette.
