BIOLOGISTS MONITOR EIA AT MULTIPURPOSE DOCK

Biologists from Bioconsultant found varieties of fish associated with reef-type marine communities in the construction area of the new Multipurpose Dock in Puerto Armuelles, which is being developed by the Panama Maritime Authority in Chiriquí. The follow-up monitoring is part of the Environmental Impact Study (EIA), Category II, which complies with Resolution No. 090 of December 19, 2023, issued by the Ministry of Environment, and seeks to determine the richness and abundance of fish and plankton using specialized scientific methodologies.
