Ministry of Transport Delegation Visits Port of Algeciras
A delegation from the Chilean Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications visited the Port of Algeciras as part of the Euroclima initiative, organized by FIAP. During the meeting, framed within the Memorandum of Understanding signed at the end of 2025, they learned about Spain's experience in efficiency, digitalization, and decarbonization. They also discussed the Digital Interoperability Project between the Central American Digital Trade Platform and the Spanish port's Port Community System. In 2026, exports of Chilean perishables through Algeciras grew by 25%.
