Maersk vessels complete exit from Persian Gulf amid regional security operations
Maersk Baltimore and a time-chartered vessel successfully exited the Persian Gulf late on 24 June and into early 25 June following thorough security assessments. Of 47,000 containers bound for the Gulf region aboard Maersk vessels at the onset of the conflict, 44,000 have been delivered while 3,000 are pending final delivery. Three vessels remain in the Gulf, with one additional transit through the Strait of Hormuz planned for a later stage.
