Port of Santos projects to reach 100 million TEU in 2026

The Port of Santos projects to reach the milestone of 100 million TEU this year since it began handling containers in the 1970s. In 2025, it exceeded 5.9 million TEU, an increase of 7.7% compared to the previous year. The creation of Tecon 10 will increase capacity by approximately 50%. Cargo handling reached 186.4 million tons in 2025, an increase of 3.6% compared to 2024.
