SAG Los Lagos Begins Inspection and Certification of Certified Seed Potato Exports

The SAG of the Los Lagos Region has begun the inspection and certification of certified seed potatoes for the 2026 season. The first 25,000 kilograms of the Atlantic variety, produced by Semillas Llanquihue Ltda. and destined for Brazil, have been approved, as part of a total of 1,200 committed tons. Three companies in the region export to Brazil, Guatemala, Uruguay, and Panama. The certified area covers 1,242 hectares, with 305.35 hectares specifically designated for export.
