Peruvian Commercial Mission Visits Port of Porto Velho to Strengthen Business with Brazil
The Brazil-Peru 2026 Commercial and Logistics Mission visited the Organized Port of Porto Velho, managed by Soph, to strengthen trade relations between both countries. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru, César Augusto Llona Silva, highlighted the importance of understanding Rondônia's logistics infrastructure. Currently, the port makes approximately four annual shipments to Peru with cargo between 1,500 and 2,000 tons of sugar and soybean oil, with a transport time of approximately 25 days.
