Five Azerbaijani Seafarers Killed in Drone Strikes on Merchant Vessels

Two cargo vessels, Natra and Zirkon, were attacked by drones in Russia's Taganrog Bay in the Sea of Azov on 5 June during early morning hours. The incident resulted in five fatalities and three injured among the 25 Azerbaijani crew members aboard. Both vessels were en-route from Turkey to Rostov-on-Don to load grain. Survivors were rescued by merchant vessels and transferred to the Russian port of Yeysk.
