Karpowership Begins Construction of Four 300 MW Sea Lion Class Powerships
Karpowership commenced construction of four new Sea Lion class Powerships at HSG Sungdong shipyard in South Korea following a steel-cutting ceremony on June 30, 2026. Each vessel will deliver 300 MW of installed capacity with three high-efficiency gas turbines in combined-cycle configuration. The four vessels are scheduled for delivery between January and May 2028, expanding Karpowership's global floating power fleet.
