Selected for the Dow Jones Best in Class World Index for the First Time
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL), led by President & CEO Jotaro Tamura, has been selected for the first time as a constituent of the Dow Jones Best in Class World Index, comprising the top 10% of companies in each industry group worldwide. MOL is the only Japanese shipping company included in the DJ BIC World. The company also marks its fourth consecutive year in the Dow Jones Best in Class Asia Pacific Index. In 2026, 319 companies were selected from 2500 companies with the largest global market capitalization, with MOL receiving especially high scores in Climate Change, Human Capital Management, and Business Ethics.
