Four LNG-Laden Ships Sail from the United States to China
Four liquefied natural gas (LNG) laden ships departed from the United States bound for China, restarting direct shipments between the two energy powers. The cargoes are expected to arrive at Chinese terminals in June, reflecting a partial reactivation of LNG trade despite China's 25% tariff on this U.S. fuel. LSEG data indicates that Asian energy demand continues to drive adjustments in shipping routes and supply contracts.
