IMO Secretary Demands Release of 90 Crew Members Kidnapped in Gulf of Aden
IMO Secretary-General Arsenio Dominguez demanded the immediate release of over 90 crew members held after the hijacking of the vessel Seamull on August 20. The IMO warned that six vessels are now being held by pirates in the Gulf of Aden and called on flag and littoral states to implement better maritime protection practices.
