DP World Posorja strengthens Ecuador's maritime connectivity with new services to Asia

DP World in Posorja was recognized as the most efficient port in Latin America in the Container Port Performance Index (CPPI) 2025, reaching 20th place worldwide. The terminal incorporated the new shipping service AX4 (NW4), operated by ONE and HMM, which directly connects Ecuador with Asia in approximately 21 days, transporting shrimp, bananas, and broccoli. The port expansion includes an 800-meter quay and an annual capacity of 1.4 million TEUs by the end of 2026.
