MSC Cruises and Meyer Werft advance contract talks for 4+2 'New Frontier' ships
MSC Cruises and Meyer Werft announced that design planning and contract negotiations for 180,000gt 'New Frontier' newbuilds have reached an advanced stage. The companies expect to conclude negotiations in the coming weeks following their December letter of intent for four ships plus two options. Each vessel will have a maximum passenger capacity of 5,400 and deliveries are scheduled to begin annually in 2030.
