Oceanwide Expeditions to Launch Antarctic Bellingshausen Sea Voyage in 2027
Oceanwide Expeditions will operate a 24-night expedition aboard the Ortelius from Jan. 14 to Feb. 7, 2027, departing from Ushuaia, Argentina. The voyage ventures into the Bellingshausen Sea and will attempt landings on Peter I Island, one of the world's most remote and rarely visited locations. The ship carries 108 passengers and is equipped with two helicopters. Shared berth pricing starts at $24,600 per person.
