Cunard's ship RMS Queen Mary 2 to gain more staterooms during 2027 refit & refurbishment

Cunard Line is preparing a significant refurbishment of RMS Queen Mary 2 that will add 30 new staterooms during a scheduled drydocking in 2027, raising overall passenger capacity by ~2.5%. The vessel will receive a combination of new suites and inside cabins across multiple decks, with the majority created on Deck 13 by enclosing part of an existing open-air sundeck. The ship is expected to enter dry dock in late March 2027 and return to service in May of the same year.
