Imports from China Soar 250% in Port of London during Q1 2026
Imports from China to the Port of London increased by 250% in the first quarter of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025, according to the Port of London Authority's Quarterly Trade Report. Although total cargo tonnage decreased by 7% to 13 million tonnes, the surge in Chinese goods demonstrates importers' and shipping companies' preference for this port.
