FCAB train derails in Calama with copper cargo
An Antofagasta Railway (FCAB) train derailed on Sunday, May 31, in the link section to San Salvador Station, north of Calama, transporting 1,895 tons of copper destined for Antofagasta. FCAB activated its response protocols and confirmed that the crew is in good condition with no injuries. According to preliminary information, no spills or environmental impact were recorded.
