Viking Yidun on First Mandarin-Language Transcontinental Voyage

Viking's Yidun departed Shanghai on June 5 on a 60-day sold-out repositioning voyage to Barcelona, marking the line's first Mandarin-language transcontinental itinerary. The 930-guest ship is sailing the "Afro-Euro-Asian Discovery Journey," calling at 27 destinations across 16 countries including Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, the Seychelles, the Maldives, and Namibia. The Yidun will then offer a full Mandarin-language Mediterranean season from fall 2026 through spring 2027, targeting the Greater China and Southeast Asia fly-cruise markets.
