Maersk adjusts fuel surcharge in Cyprus effective July 6th

Maersk announced an exceptional fuel surcharge adjustment for Cyprus effective 6th July 2026, with truck shipments subject to a 3% surcharge. Due to increased fuel costs stemming from the Middle East situation, the carrier will implement weekly reviews instead of monthly ones, with updates every Friday. Surcharge codes will appear on invoices as "EFS" (Export Fuel Surcharge) and "IFS" (Import Fuel Surcharge), remaining in place until costs stabilize.
